Release Day Review: "Desire After Dark" by Marie Force

Synopsis:

Tobias “Slim” Jackson has the perfect life as a pilot on Gansett Island in the summer and in Florida in the winter. He’s happiest when he’s in the air, or at least that was the case before last summer when he met Erin Barton, Gansett Island’s newest lighthouse keeper. Now he can’t seem to find his usual enthusiasm for flying, winter in the sunny South or anything that doesn’t include her.

Erin has been stuck on pause since she lost her twin brother. She’ll tell you herself that her life has been a hot mess since Toby died. After dropping out of law school, she’s flitted from one pointless job to another, existing rather than truly living. Then she comes to Gansett Island to take over as the new lighthouse keeper and meets Slim, who happens to share her beloved brother’s first name. That small coincidence is enough to convince Erin that she needs to spend more time with the dashing pilot—except for the fact that he’s spending the winter more than a thousand miles from her.

Now Slim’s come home to Gansett for the holidays and to hopefully pick up where he left off with Erin. He’s got twelve days before he’s due back in Florida to finish out the remainder of his winter obligations. A lot can happen in twelve days, but will it be enough to convince Erin that it’s time to start truly living again? Read Slim and Erin’s story and catch up with the rest of the Gansett Island cast in Desire After Dark!

Genre: Contemporary Romance
My Review:
Erin and Slim's story was teased in the last novel from Gansett Island and I was pleased to finally read their story. I have to tell you - that lighthouse must be magical because Erin is the second woman to find love there. Erin and Slim are both great characters. Erin is still living in the past - paralyzed with fears and obsessions that have only grown, not diminished, since the loss of her brother in 9/11. She thinks she's moved on, but she really hasn't. Slim is determined to break through the walls that she has put up and find a way to her heart. He comes to Gansett determined to spend time with her, not fully realizing how quickly she'd grab hold of his heart.

Ms. Force has a knack of writing wonderful male heroes, and Slim is no exception. He's wonderfully attentive to Erin and a great friend to the other residents of Gansett. But he doesn't hone in on Erin's biggest issue until he's fallen head-over-heels in love with her, and its a secret that can tear them apart - literally. But in true Gansett hero fashion, he deals with it perfectly.

The main reason this read didn't get 5 stars is that I felt there was so much jumping around between points of view. In order to update the readers on former Gansett favorites, this book must have been told from more than probably six points of view and it got to be a bit much, jumping back and forth between the main characters (Slim and Erin) and then the various residents of Gansett. As much as I enjoyed the updates, the various changes made it a bit difficult to stay with the story. Other than that, the story was well done and the characters compelling, and always a bit of hilarity to go along with the residents of Gansett Island, no matter where they are!

Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Review: "Ain't She Sweet" by Marie Force

Synopsis:

Charlotte “Charley” Abbott has gone out with every guy under thirty-five in Butler, Vermont—except for one. Tyler Westcott’s attempts to date her may be determined, and frequent, but Charley can’t stand how he acts like he knows her better than she knows herself. So when Tyler turns up at the running club Charley joined to train for a marathon, she’s almost ready to quit before she even gets started.

Tyler knows that behind Charley’s prickly personality and dismissive attitude is a sweet woman he wants in his life. And when Charley suffers an injury while training, Tyler is ready to prove that the perfect man for her has been right there all along...

Genre: Contemporary Romance

My Review:
Ain't She Sweet is the newest glimpse into the lives of the Abbott family. Ms. Force teased the relationship between Tyler and Charley in a previous book and I was anxious to see how Tyler was going to win over the heart of wary Charley.  I see so much of myself in Charley - someone who can be strong and argumentative and contrary as a defense mechanism. Charley faults herself for not seeing what was happening to her previously, so she's decided to protect herself from heartbreak again. Tyler is the perfect man to break through Charley's tough exterior to see the emotional woman underneath. I love how insightful and thoughtful Tyler is - he's able to determine early-on that something is driving Charley to be the way that she is and he's determined to tread lightly but deliberately. I love how attentive Tyler is to Charley. I just really love everything about Tyler.

Charley is a character that you love - even though she makes it hard - and there are times that you want to smack her upside the head. I enjoyed watching her transition as she grew to trust Tyler and open herself up to things she didn't think she ever wanted again.

I felt much like the residents of Butler when they were worried about Fred. I was surprised it took so long for Fred to make an appearance and I was a little disappointed that we didn't see more of him in the story - maybe he's been off mourning the loss of his first love (Cameron).

As with all Ms. Force's romances, the intimacy is steamy and well done. The characters certainly got creative while Charley was recuperating from the injury that landed her in Tyler's house in the first place!

Ain't She Sweet Release Party

With Author Marie Force

aint she sweetWelcome to an exclusive interview with Author Marie Force, for the launch of Ain’t She Sweet, Book 6 in the Green Mountain Series. Since All You Need Is Love was released in 2014, the Green Mountain Series has stolen the hearts of readers, and Fred the Moose has earned himself a cult following. a Rafflecopter giveaway

First we’ll start off with a fun one, who is Fred the moose, and who are his loyal followers?

Marie: Green Mountain readers met Fred in chapter one of book one, All You Need Is Love, when city girl Cameron Murphy ran her brand new Mini Cooper into Fred on a dark mountain road. When Will Abbott came upon the scene, he was far more concerned about the health of the town moose than he was about the city girl’s brand new car with the crushed front end. It was the start of a beautiful romance between Will and Cameron—and Cameron and Fred, who shows up with enough regularity that Will’s dad surmises Fred has a crush on Cameron. Much hilarity ensues any time Fred pops in for a visit, which is why the readers eagerly look forward to his appearances in each of the Green Mountain books.

The Green Mountain Series features the Abbott, Stillman, and Coleman families. Where are Charley and Tyler in the Green Mountain family tree?

Marie: Charley falls square in the middle of the Abbott family at number five out of ten siblings. She’s a self-proclaimed pain the rear, and you won’t hear her siblings deny that she’s one prickly, pushy, pain the butt. But they love her anyway, and so does Tyler, who’s been trying to get her to go out with him for ages. He doesn’t stand a chance with her until she falls off a mountain, and he sees his opportunity to come to her rescue—in more ways than one!

This book follows the story of Charley and Tyler, can we expect everything to go smoothly for them, or will they hit a few road bumps along the way?

Marie: This is a romance novel! The course of true love never runs smooth, and Charley and Tyler are in for a wild ride before they find their happily ever after. Their story has all the things readers have come to expect from this series—meddling family members, sibling bickering, hot, steamy love scenes and a visit from Fred the moose!

Ain’t She Sweet is set in picturesque Vermont, how do you use this landscape to pull out the stories of your characters?

Marie: The mountain tapestry offers up a lot of opportunities for story, such as when Cameron arrives in the midst of mud season (and yes, mud has a season in Vermont), or when Charley falls off the side of a mountain during a snowy run. The characters love to ski and snow-mobile, among other activities that require toasty fires in the wood stove and down comforters to keep them warm. ;-)

Time for another fun one! What are Charley and Tyler’s favorite food, color, car and sport?

Marie: They prefer cars with four-wheel drive, such as Tyler’s Range Rover, to get them around in the mountains during the winter. They both love to run, as you’ll see in the opening chapters of Ain’t She Sweet. As for the rest, well, you’ll have to read the book and decide for yourselves! Thanks for joining us today, and for giving us the opportunity to learn a little more about your latest book!

Review: "Celebration After Dark" by Marie Force

Synopsis:

On the occasion of their 40th wedding anniversary, Big Mac and Linda McCarthy take a look back at how they came to be, while each of their children confront a new challenge in their own lives. Come to Gansett Island to celebrate the holidays and the anniversary of the island's most loved couple! More than 40,000 words.

Genre: Contemporary Romance

My Review:

Fans of Gansett Island, and specifically the McCarthy family, have been long awaiting the love story of the couple that started it all - Mac and Linda. Told in flashbacks to when they met, Mac and Linda's love story is sweet and endearing. Interspersed with their memories of the past on the occasion of their 40th anniversary, readers get a check-in with each of their favorite McCarthy children. It's a great addition to the Gansett Island series and a fun way to show us how the McCarthys got their start. Mac and Linda are as wonderful as ever, and this reader loved seeing how the rest of the family is doing and catch up with weddings, babies, and other important life events.

Review: "It's Only Love" by Marie Force

Synopsis:

Ella Abbott has long been secretly in love with Gavin Guthrie. A few recent encounters have only added to her infatuation, especially the kiss they shared at her sister’s wedding. It doesn’t matter to Ella that Gavin is in a bad place. He says there’s no hope for a future with him, that he has nothing to offer her. But all Ella cares about is the love she feels.

It’s been seven long years since Gavin lost his brother. He’d kept himself under control and moving forward until his brother’s beloved dog died and his brother’s widow re-married. Since then, he’s been drinking, fighting, and even getting arrested. It seems the only time his demons leave him alone is when Ella is around.

Gavin knows it wouldn’t be fair to drag Ella into his darkness, but when she inserts herself into his life, what choice does he have but to allow her to soothe his aching heart?

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Review:

I felt like I'd been run over by an emotional Mack truck when I finished this book. Marie Force creates an emotional journey that takes the reader right along with the characters. Gavin is a fantastic, complex character. The author really nailed what it's like to be drowning in grief. But Gavin's grief went deeper because it was intermingled with misplaced guilt.

I really liked watching how Ella navigated the beginnings of their relationship, especially since both of them quickly admitted that while the relationship was new, the feelings weren't. Their feelings went back years and it just took them this long to be ready to embrace them. Their relationship was messy, complicated, and intense and perfect for both of them. The one and only struggle I had with their relationship was Gavin continuing to promise that he wouldn't walk away; that he would always be there. Where he was in his grief journey and their relationship, I felt it would have been better for him to promise to try. Both of these characters are driven intensely by their emotions and as such, it's got to be difficult for either of them to make promises that they won't be driven by those emotions to make poor decisions.

I appreciate how the author included both Gavin and Ella's family in their relationship. It was no surprise to see the Abbott parents, as they are an integral part of the Green Mountain series, but I really liked how Gavin's parents were brought into the story and how Gavin's father, especially, helped Gavin work through all of the feelings he was having.

In true Marie Force fashion, the Abbott siblings play a role in Gavin and Ella's story. We get to check in with the ones who have already found their happily-ever-after, and teased with those that haven't. And there was definitely some "Abbott brother" intimidation of Gavin as he was navigating his relationship with Ella - and it was delightful and fun to watch. This family loves each other, protects each other, and closes ranks when they need to. We've been getting to know the Abbott's in each book and by the time a character's book comes out, we can't wait to see how they find their happily-ever-after. Such is the case with It's Only Love. Another wonderful addition to the Green Mountain series.

Review: "You'll be Mine" by Marie Force

Synopsis:
Green Mountain short story You'll Be Mine. Will Abbott and Cameron Murphy are finally ready to tie the knot—as long as family, friends and a love-struck moose don’t get in the way.

Genre: Contemporary Romance
My Review:

Finally! The long awaited wedding of Will and Cameron, the couple that introduced us to Green Mountain, the Abbotts, and Fred the Moose. This is a great novella that gives us a quick check in with all of our favorite Green Mountain couples and gives us a front row seat at Will and Cameron's wedding.

In true Marie Force fashion, You'll Be Mine is steamy! Not for the faint of heart, but passionate and intimate and loving. There are also lots of laughs, a few little hints into what's coming in the future. And even a heartbroken moose. Fred's crush on Cameron was an important part of You'll Be Mine, and I can only hope he gets some closure after his heart is broken.

I loved You'll Be Mine and loved that we got to see Will and Cameron's wedding center stage, and a brief opportunity to check-in with our other favorite Abbotts. And it was a nice way to pass the time until our next full installment in the Green Mountain Series. Well done, Marie Force.

Review: "Love After Dark" by Marie Force

Synopsis:

Paul Martinez has been run ragged by the demands of managing the family’s landscaping business and his mother’s battle with dementia. It’s been so long since he had sex, he can’t remember the last time. The arrival of nurse Hope Russell brought some badly needed help to Paul and his brother Alex in managing their mother’s illness, but Hope’s presence has sparked a whole new problem for Paul—lusting after one of his employees, something his late father would never condone.

Hope and her young son Ethan badly need this second chance on Gansett Island, and she’s determined to make her new job work for both of them. Kissing her boss, however, was not part of the plan. The more time she spends with Paul, the more she admires the way he cares for his mother and the attention he pays to her son. But when Paul finds out about her shameful past, will he still want her and Ethan in his life?

Come back to Gansett Island to find out what’s going on with all your favorite characters, including Mac and Maddie, Seamus and Carolina and the rest of the Gansett crew. Weeks before Alex and Jenny’s long-awaited wedding, Alex begins to worry that his bride is getting cold feet—or is something else going on? It’s September on Gansett where the days are cool, bright and sunny and the nights are hot and sexy!

Genre: Contemporary Romance
My Review:

Welcome back to Gansett Island! For fans of the MacCarthys and all of their friends, it's been long overdue. The author has been teasing us with Paul and Hope's story for a while now, so I was excited to actually read it. Before I jump into the story, I need to comment on the cover. The author actually used a real-life newlywed couple as her cover models for Paul and Hope. They are a perfect fit for Paul and Hope! I could just picture them as I read their story. It makes their love feel more real because we KNOW it's real!

Paul and Hope are the feature of Love After Dark. Their love story is delightful. Hope is a single mother and feels the pressures of putting her child first, even at the sake of her own love. She can't get involved with her boss because she needs her job. But we all know that you can't fight love, and it's not long before Paul and Hope are involved. I was heartbroken for Paul and Hope as their relationship progresses and they decide, somewhat mutually, to go their separate ways. Thankfully, Paul has a good confidant in his brother, Alex, who smacks him upside the head and helps him realize what he needs to do to get his happily-ever-after.

The author also includes a difficult storyline - dementia in a family member. Paul and Alex are dealing with the decline of their mother, which was what brought Hope into their lives initially. The author provides a sensitive and emotional look into the family struggles of living with a patient with dementia. My heart broke for Paul, Alex and Hope as they made tough decisions regarding her care.

In typically Marie Force fashion, she gives us a check-in with many of our favorite residents of Gansett Island. And for the benefit of readers NEW to Marie Force, I will warn you right now.  The residents of Gansett Island are very happy. I mean VERY happy. Maybe a better way to describe it is "sexually satisfied". The residents of Gansett Island have sex. A lot of sex. All the time, anywhere (can we say Blaine and Tiffany). If you aren't interested in a sneak peak in the sexual habits of some of our favorite Gansett Island residents, this book isn't for you. For the lovers of sensual contemporary romance that tugs at your heartstrings and makes you smile, you'll love Love After Dark.

"And I Love Her" by Marie Force

As the oldest of the ten Abbott siblings, Hunter prides himself on his ability to solve other people’s problems, but now he has a problem of his own—how to convince the woman of his dreams that his love is for keeps.

As the chief financial officer, Hunter Abbott manages the family’s various business interests while “fixing” things for the people he loves. But the one thing he can’t fix is his undeniable attraction to Megan Kane. Instead, Hunter is prepared to do whatever it takes to show Megan that he’s the man for her.

Megan’s sister rocks her with the news that she and her husband are moving overseas, leaving Megan truly alone. With her sister—and her job at the diner—going away, Megan finds herself leaning on the sexy, button-down accountant who isn’t afraid to lay it all on the line for her. But Megan has watched too many people she loves leave her. Can she risk her heart on Hunter?

My review:
And I Love Her gives us a story of unrequited feelings developing into true love.  As a reader, I really enjoyed how Marie Force took the "straight-laced" Hunter and through Megan, showed him loosening up and embracing life more fully.  I believe that Hunter has felt the pressure of being the oldest son and bearing the burden, with his parents, of helping to raise his siblings.  He also has a very special relationship with his twin Hannah, and we see the depths of his special relationship with her throughout this book. Hunter's feelings for his family run deep and I believe much of his emotional energy has been spent on his family, leaving him little to invest in much more than fleeting romantic relationships.
I really loved seeing Hunter come completely unglued as he began dating Megan. The author showed us how even the most serious of personalities can be shaken with just the slightest bit of emotional turmoil - and Hunter had it in spades.  His relationship with Megan begins at a time when she is struggling with decisions about her future, and while Hunter doesn't want her to feel the pressure of making a decision about her future based on his feelings for her, he also doesn't want to miss his opportunity with Megan - an opportunity he has been waiting years for.
I really appreciated the opportunity to also stay in touch with Will and Cameron, who had continuing roles in this book.  In And I Love Her, it became clear that Will is not the only one vying for Cameron's affections.  While Cameron believes that Fred doesn't like her, I firmly believe that Fred has a serious crush on Cameron and is taking every opportunity to demonstrate his feelings for her.  I felt his trapping her and ultimately letting her go, after Will talked to him, was representative of Fred finally letting Cameron go.  I have really enjoyed the comic relief that Fred provides in each book and I look forward to seeing how Ms. Force chooses to keep Fred a prominent character in each book of the Green Mountain Series.
Each book in the Green Mountain series has been an emotional look into a member of the Abbott family, and And I Love Her was no different.  Ms. Force continues to touch into different aspects of our emotions - family love, romantic love, sibling love, friendly love - in each of her books and I enjoyed the varying emotional aspects of love she demonstrated with Hunter and Megan in this book. Hunter has quickly become my favorite member of the Abbott family.

Book Recommendation: "All You Need is Love" by Marie Force

I've decided to add a few strategically timed book suggestions to my blog.  The first is one of my favorite authors, Marie Force.  Marie has several series that she writes and her next book release is part of the "Green Mountain" series.

And I Love Her, book 4 in this series, is on my pre-order list from Amazon and I expect that I will be a bit MIA on March 3rd, when it hits my Kindle.  I will surely be reviewing it here.

In the meantime, for those looking for a great series to sink their teeth into, or who want to get caught up on all the Abbott's of Vermont before her newest release, the price of All You Need is Love, the first book in the series, has been reduced.  The price is only in effect until Feb 22, so now's the time to start the series. After reading Marie's Gansett Island series, I knew Green Mountain would not disappoint, but it's so much more than that.  This series features strong and sensitive men, caring and loving (and sometimes a bit crazy) women, and a wonderful moose named Fred who makes an appearance (or two) in every book.

"The Wreck" by Marie Force

Carly Holbrook and Brian Westbury are weeks away from their high school graduation. The young couple plans to marry before they head to college, and their future seems bright with promise.

Everything changes one spring night when their six closest friends, including Brian's younger brother, are killed in a fiery car accident that Carly and Brian witness. The trauma leaves Carly unable to speak, and Brian is forced to make unimaginable decisions about a future that once seemed so certain. With Carly incapable of going forward with their plans, Brian leaves home—and Carly—for good. Fifteen years later, disturbing new clues indicate the accident that wrecked so many lives wasn't an accident at all, bringing Brian home to face a past—and a love—he's never forgotten

I recently re-read Marie Force's The Wreck.  I've read a lot of what Marie has written and The Wreck was one of the first books of hers that I read.  But it shook me.  While I had read and re-read many of her other books, I hadn't mustered the fortitude to re-read this book.  But after reading a less than satisfying book, I wanted to re-read one I knew was well written.  So, I picked it up.  And I wasn't disappointed.

My review:
Marie Force's "The Wreck" takes you on a journey with two people, Brian and Carly, as they are forced to grow up way too soon due to tragedy. The effects of that tragedy are far reaching for Brian, Carly, and their extended families. The Wreck takes us through their lives before and after "the wreck" to their ultimate reunion due to further tragic events.
The Wreck is an emotional read. I was struck early on at Brian's emotional maturity dealing with the tragedy in his life. His ultimatum may have appeared unfeeling and immature towards Carly, but I actually believed it was a mature reaction - understanding that he needed to do what was necessary to move on with his life.
Carly's reaction to "the wreck" was severe. Little did we know the full impact of the repercussions of the wreck until later in the book. Carly shows an enormous strength, despite her loss of the ability to speak. While it took her longer to begin to move on with her life, she might have demonstrated more strength than Brian. Brian may have moved on with his life, but his life was shallow and empty. He didn't form relationships - he was just going through the motions of life.
Until he came home.
A subsequent tragedy was a turning point for Carly, and ultimately for Brian. Their reunion when Brian came home was really and truly the point at which they both began to heal.

Marie Force's writing made it easy for me to connect with the characters at an emotional level and feel the love and fear and anxiety that they were feeling. It flowed very well and it made it easy for me to turn the pages as quickly as I needed to because I REALLY wanted to know how it ended.
I'm always happy when I read one of Marie's book, and this one is no different.  It is a stand-alone novel, and one of her first, I believe.

"I Saw Her Standing There" by Marie Force

There’s a budding romance on Butler Mountain, but in the hornets’ nest known as the Abbott family, keeping a secret is no easy feat…

Colton Abbott and Lucy Mulvaney have a secret. Colton’s nosy siblings have begun to put the pieces together, but it’s not like Lucy to keep things from those closest to her—especially her best friend, Cameron, who recently moved to Vermont to live with her true love, Will. But Lucy isn’t about to tell Cam she’s having a fling…with Will’s brother.

Flitting between New York and Vermont is exhausting, so Lucy is looking forward to a long weekend with Colton at the Abbott family lake house in Burlington. Too bad Will and Cameron have the same idea, and once Colton and Lucy are caught red-handed (and red-faced), will their clandestine romance lose its appeal or will their secret beginnings be the start of something lasting?

My review:
** spoiler alert ** Marie Force has done it again with "I Saw Her Standing There". We return to Green Mountain to check up on the Abbott family and explore Colton's "secret" relationship. We were introduced to Colton and intrigued by his solitary lifestyle on the mountain in our first two books. Who knew his interest would be sparked by a city girl from New York! I loved how Marie developed the relationship between Colton and Lucy. It took some clear dedication by both parties, but especially Colton, to work on the beginning of their relationship. I laughed out loud when Will and Cameron walked into the cabin and caught Colton and Lucy. What a great way for the family to find out, except of course we know that Lincoln and Elmer knew all along!

I really liked the character development of Colton and how we got to know him. I was impressed that he went to so much trouble to prove that he was willing to do what was necessary to be with Lucy. And introducing Colton to New York at a sex toys convention was masterful - I laughed out loud at his mortification, and then again when he decided to experiment with some of the goodies from the convention.

It did bother me that Lucy didn't seem to be willing to even consider leaving the city, and that her family was feeding into that. I was happy when her father realized what he was doing and spoke to her about considering her future.

I also liked to see the relationship between Colton and his siblings. The glimpses into life with Max are intriguing and I look forward to more of that storyline woven into future stories. In the end, Colton and Lucy found a way to work out their relationship between two places and I'm thrilled they realized they found something important enough to work for!

The only thing I wish was that we had a bit more in-depth flashbacks of the very beginning of Colton and Lucy's relationship. We got information about how the met and the beginning evenings of their relationship - I would have liked a bit more in-depth development of that first night, maybe a bit more of each of them remembering when they saw each other in the initial meeting, at dinner, etc.

Marie hit it out of the park with this installment of the Green Mountain series. I was captivated from start to end! And not to be left out, I really liked how Fred was worked into the story and I find myself looking forward to how he'll be brought into each story!

"All You Need is Love" by Marie Force

Hoping to take the magic of the island and move it to the mountains with the Abbot family, purveyors of the odd and hard to find relics of a time long gone by in small-town Vermont. Hope you'll come with me to the Green Mountains! Watch for the first book in the series in early 2014!

The family-run Green Mountain Country Store is cherished by locals as a reminder of simpler times. The Abbott children are determined to keep it that way—but their father has different plans…

When Cameron Murphy heads to Vermont to build a website for a new client, she imagines a more relaxing trip than she gets. After wrecking her car by colliding with the town moose, she meets the most handsome hero she’s ever seen. Unfortunately, her savior, Will Abbott, is also the son of her client—and he wants nothing to do with the new website or the city girl creating it.

For all Will cares, Cameron can march her fancy boots right out of town and out of his family’s business. But he can’t seem to get her out of his head. As his family’s dispute heats up, so does the chemistry between the two, leaving them wondering if simple is better after all—especially when it comes to matters of the heart.

My review:
Cameron is heading to the middle of nowhere Vermont to pitch a web site to a family business - a job she needs in order to keep her company's doors open. On the way into town she meets Fred - the town Moose. But more importantly, she meets Will - and her life will never be the same. As Cameron fell in love with Will, and the entire Abbott family, so did we. I loved how the family dynamic of the Abbott's was shown - they are a wonderfully loving family. And Will's mom understood how Cameron's reactions were based on her not growing up with a mother. So many romance stories need to introduce strife into the relationship. There was none of that - no hidden secrets, no lies, just complications and struggles that they worked through. I loved how the rest of the family (including the dogs) was introduced and they were enough a part of the story to make us long for more about them. I even think Marie should consider a future novella featuring the dogs and Fred! :). Great first installment of Green Mountain and I can't wait for the next book.
